The primary principle of software test is to separate the development and test process. Though most shareware developers aware this without any doubt, they do not have the money and time to hire another QA tester. We design a special shareware test flow with much lower cost to get this problem solved.

As a shareware developer and test service provider we have accumulate plenty shareware industry experience to know what you need and what your customs need.

How to proceed?

Step1 : Choose test items for your shareware. Right now we have at most 12 optional test items available. You may pick up the Combo Service (Basic Combo, Integrate Combo and Advanced Combo) or Self-help Service. Each combo service contains several different combinations of test items with certain discount of charge, while the self-help service requires you to pick up the test items by yourself. Charge of self-help service is simply the sum of each item.

Step2: Confirmation. After submit your test service form please email us your order form number to freemansoftware@gmail.com , with your electronical signature attached. We will estimate the test period (Generally in 2 weeks, depending on your product) and confirm the service/price in 2 work days. After double confirmation please pay 30% fee before testing proceed.

Step3: Submit test report and settle. We will send you the sample of test report in the test period. After receipt please pay another 70% charge. Then we will send you the formal test report. If we can not finish the test in time without any rearrangement with customers, the total fee will be cut 5% per day as pay back.

Step 4: Circle test. After rework of the product according to our test report, we will test the new version of your product once for free. The test items are the same with the last time version, new functions are not included in circle test.

 

How to charge?

The total fee includes two parts: the Basic Fee and the Advanced Fee. The Basic Fee is charged according to the combo or self-help test items. The Advanced Fee expense contains:

1.  If your shareware includes more than 10 independent function modules, each module will be charged another 10% of the basic expense. Generally an independent function module means that point to an individual function, like a menu or quick button of the tool bar.

2.  In the test report if more than 30 bugs are listed, each bug will be charged another $4. Generally bug means mistake or flaw which may potentially cause exception, invalidation or shutdown.

3.  If you requires more than one circle test, each time we charge another 10%. As we mentioned above, circle test means the test of the new version which has been rebuilt according to our last test report.

If this is the first time you pick up our test service, we will offer you 80% discount. Besides we offer 80% discount of those submit more than 3 products, 60% for more than 10 products.
